• Puffins are a type of pelagic seabird that feed primarily by diving in the water. They have a brightly coloured orange-red large beak; it is their most obvious identifying feature. All puffin species have predominantly black or black and white plumage and a stocky build, nicely interpreted with the CollectA model.
